I drove more than an hour out of my way to this location because the store verified it had the parts I needed in stock. When I arrived my parts were not boxed so the rep found me a cart. Upon inspection, I realized items were missing from my order. The rep checked in the back and came back to tell me they did not have one of the parts in stock they had previously told me they had. She explained I could drive to another location to pick it up and as they would not deliver it to me. Why would I trust the part to be in stock at the next location after this experience? I refused to drive any further as this was not my mistake and the rep explained her driver could not deliver the part to me so I requested a full refund. Completely unorganized and poorly managed. Also, employees should not be allowed to smoke cigarettes at the entrance of the store. Is this not common sense? I feel I should be reimbursed not just for my purchase, but also for the money I spent on fuel. Feedback: There needs to be reconciliation between the parts on the shelf and what is displayed in the computer system so reps are not sharing bad information with customers. The parking lot/exterior of the building was filthy and there should not be a smoking area/butt can located immediately adjacent to the entrance! Really!? This issue could have been easily resolved had the rep been willing to have a driver drop the part off to me or to have shipped it to me overnight. This was a lapse on Advance's behalf, not mine. Thus Advance should have rectified the mistake. There is more to cover but I feel I have shared the gist of my visit. I would like to be contacted regarding my experience.
